2023 | Tour d’Excellence

The “Tour d’Excellence” was an exciting and pioneering journey with two electric VW ID Buzz cars passing thru 2 continents, 12 countries, and across 3 seas, covering more than 8’000 electric kilometers.

GIMS (Geneva International Motor Show) commissioned Rinspeed to plan and execute by this amazing and symbolic travel to connect the cities of Geneva and Doha at the occasion of the first edition of GIMS Qatar from October 5th thru 14th, 2023.

Fascinating landscapes, friendly and helpful people along the way, and the first crossing of Saudi Arabia in EV’s, and the exhibition of the vehicles at the GIMS Qatar in Doha at the DECC remain in the memory of the six people team.
